Hey, I'm Sarah!
I’ve been teaching group fitness classes since August 2016 after taking the plunge and leaving my full-time job working in a bank. I found Powerhoop in October and launched the first Powerhoop Ashford classes in January 2017.
I’ve taught lots of different classes over the years; Legs Bums & Tums, HIIT, Circuits, Stretch & Tone, Vibe Cycle & Vibe Power. Now you’ll either find me Powerhooping or dancing my way through a Clubbercise class! I have a part time job working in payroll in the NHS, and also spend my days chasing round after my very busy, almost 2 year old daughter.
I love teaching classes not just for the fantastic physical results they bring (which speak for themselves!) but also seeing members confidence grow; not only in their own fitness abilities but also being happier in their own bodies and seeing the positive impact exercise has on everyday wellbeing in a busy world. I love watching everyone’s progress and creating more challenging routines to keep you all on your toes! Exercise is such a huge part of my life, and to me is so much more than just a weight loss program.
It’s about reaping the benefits of being physically fit, active and healthy, it’s about becoming more confident, it’s about social interactions and creating a place to build friendships, to have that all important me-time in our super hectic lives, it’s learning and mastering a new skill, about challenging myself and others both mentally and physically, and always celebrating the wins no matter how big or small!
